Austria boasts some of the prettiest and most charming cities in Europe, which should definitely be included in your Austrian itinerary. Although not the capital, Salzburg is one of the most visited cities in Austria and it?s easy to see why. As the setting for the 1960's musical ?The Sound of Music? and the birthplace of Mozart, the city attracts classical music aficionados and kitsch movie fans in equal quantities. Meanwhile, Vienna mesmerises with its old-fashioned character and Innsbruck captivates with its perfect mix of stunning Alpine scenery and vibrant metropolis.
